Intensity

I know I’ve mentioned my obsession with Dean Koontz books. He is such a talented author, and when I started reading Intensity, he didn’t disappoint.

Koontz has one hell of an imagination. The story idea’s he comes up with are truly astounding, and transfer to paper really well. Intensity is no different. Every step the main character makes, you chastise her, you just wanna yell at her, but you can’t help but cheer her on.

I have a nasty habit of figuring things out before they happen in books, and with Intensity, I figured things out at JUST the rate Dean Koontz intended you to, with his characters. He even managed to throw a few curve balls as well, keeping me hooked.

Characters you hate to love, and ones you love to hate. Sympathy, anger, fear, and frustration. That is the backbone of this story, and even though the end leaves you exhausted, Koontz finds a way to un-tingle your spine, and warm your heart.

Another A+ if you ask me, Mr. Koontz. A+ indeed.
